Australian International Academy

Was the first week of spring and i wish i could say the year nine boys from Australian International Academy brought the nice weather with them. Despite the cool temperatures and the rainy days, the gang spent their time eager to find out everything we had to offer.

THe four day camp was jam packed and we had all the best of our activities. The boys favourites seemed to be: the giant swing, the flying fox, inflatables, the monster course (all it took was one song “turn down for what” and you guys were ready to go) and the Leap of Faith.

The results for the monster course were: SK’s: 30:58 Cockaddodle FIghters: 51:28

Notorious: 33:01 TMT: 35:10

Everyone was pretty happy with the Aussies winning the soccer on the tuesday night and the Crows winning the final on the thursday night, and there were a lot of conversations around both games, not nearly as many conversation though as their was about what A.J’s name stands for. Madness. We had lots of fun, spending the week learning a lot from you guys there was some great conversations and strong banter all round! So many strong leaders in the group that was awesome to see and sooo many of you pushed yourselves continuously during camp.

A big well-done to the guys who were voted by their tribes for extra Great efforts during camp. Moussa, Adam H, Jabril, Areef and Kassem (sorry for the spelling guys). Thanks so much for the week, you all definitely made our jobs “light work”. HAHAH
