Kyneton Secondary College

We finished off a big week at The Summit with Kyneton Secondary College year 8s. We had an absolute blast with these guys and it was an eventful three days.

Day One, you all arrived and there wasn’t much time to waste as we had to fit in three activities. Our first round of activities were Sky Bridge, Rock Wall, Scavenger Hunt, Cave and Snake and Nails. Day one flew past us and by the end of the day we had discovered our tribe names. We had: Just Send it, Undecided, The Burners, Canoe Shed and Loud Bunch.

Day two was an even bigger day with 5 activities and a massive Monster Course in the afternoon. We started our next lot of activities. This time we were taking on Leap of Faith, Orienteering, Summit Window, Laser and Snowy River Challenge. Like we had before, we smashed all of these new activities, conquering new heights and dominating the new team challenges.

One ultimate tribe challenge was The Monster Course. Although the conditions were tough, again, you all took these challenge head on. Not only completing the course once, but twice to try and beat your original time. You could tell that it was Friday as everyone was exhausted but that didn’t stop us from finishing off our last two activities the same way we started. Before we said our goodbyes six tribes members were lucky enough to go for a ride in our WWII army tank. Well done to Zac, Ben, Riley, Miles and Barry.
