Chairo Christian School

What a better way to finish up term three then with the amazing year 10 and teachers from Chairo Christian School three campuses. The weather for the week was great and the effort from so many was equally great. After getting settled in to camp, it was straight into choosing a tribe name. Summit Survivors, Steel Blue and The B Team were the names of the tribes.

Here is some of the highlights and results for the week. Zac’s massive effort to brave the Giant Swing and push himself to swing was brilliant to witness. Riley had a sensational effort at the leap, not only leaping but pushing himself to do it blindfolded. Everyone’s effort during tribe challenges was epic with the results like these:

  • Snowy River Challenge: Summit Survivors 26.09, B Team 26.26, Steel Blue35.34

  • Photo Scavenger: Steel Blue 840 points, Summit Survivors 690 points, B Team 570 points.

  • Bush Challenge: Summit Survivors 15.10, B Team 16.05, Steel Blue 19.11.

  • Monster Course: Steel Blue improved by 7.45,Summit Survivors 6.26, B Team 6.09.

After a week of Unleashing greatness, the end of camp was finished by each tribe voting for a values winner who demonstrated the five key values of camp at their best. These individuals would be rewarded with a ride in The Summit WWII army tank. Congratulations to Jack, James, Ethan and Alanna. You all were amazing.
