On Wednesday afternoon, 7 October 2026, we welcomed the students and teachers from Clifton Creek Primary School to The Summit for three days of adventure, teamwork, laughter and personal growth!
With coaches Spinks (aka Sonic) and Liv leading the way, the team jumped straight into the Summit experience, ready to take on new challenges, support one another and make the most of every opportunity.
Throughout camp, students were introduced to The Summit’s Five Keys:
- Have Fun
- Play All In
- Make Lots of Mistakes
- Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable
- Don’t Go Home Wondering “What If”
These five values guided the team throughout their camp experience, encouraging everyone to give things a go, embrace challenges and discover what they could achieve together.
Day One
Before jumping into their first activities, the group headed down to the BBQ shelter to explore V-BOWES, Target, Stretch and Super Stretch goal-setting, and have a go at a game of Keepy-Uppy.
The team managed an impressive 26 touches, reaching their Super Stretch goal! 🙌
Next up was the initiative game Where Is Bob?, where the group worked together to rescue Bob and return him home safely. With V-BOWES and their mascot Bob combined, the team found their identity: the V-BOBS!
Activities & Team Adventures
It was time to put the Five Keys into action with the day’s two activities:
- Flying Fox
- Laser Skirmish
There was plenty of fun, with students achieving their Stretches and Super Stretches and earning shooting stars along the way. The V-BOBS finished the day with smiles, laughter and a great start to their Summit adventure!
Day Two – Bring the Vibe
Day Two began with an intention session led by Spinks, challenging students to “bring the vibe” and choose one of the Five Keys to focus on for the day.
The group also explored the importance of staying present rather than getting caught up worrying about what’s coming next. A great reminder to focus on the challenge in front of us and make the most of the moment!
After a game of Pirates, the team headed into their next activities: Tash’s Ladder and Bagblitz.
The adventures continued with two more activities:
- Cave
- Bush Challenge
The V-BOBS worked together, took on new challenges and put their Five Keys into practice as they continued to build teamwork and confidence.
The Monster Course
After lunch, it was time to get changed and prepare for The Summit’s very own Monster Course!
With more than 11 obstacles to tackle, students faced a combination of dry, wet and muddy challenges. There were plenty of smiles and laughs along the way as the V-BOBS pushed themselves, encouraged one another and embraced the experience.
The Monster Course was a fantastic opportunity to practise perseverance, step outside comfort zones and remember that sometimes the best way forward is to give something a go, even when it feels challenging.
Final Day – Gratitude, Heroes & Hearts
Our final day began with a gratitude session led by Liv. Students reflected on the big day they had experienced and looked ahead to the adventures still to come.
The final activities were Rock Wall and Scavenger Hunt, giving the V-BOBS one last opportunity to challenge themselves, work together and make the most of their time at The Summit.
Tribe Reflections & Tank Time
To wrap up camp, the group shared their “Rock, Sticks and Leaf” reflections, looking back on their experiences and what they would take away from camp.
The team then voted for two special people who had made a difference to their group:
- 🦸 Hero of the Group – Andrew
- 💚 Heart of the Group – Finley
Congratulations to Andrew and Finley! Both were awarded a Summit Survivor medal and enjoyed a hot lap in The Summit’s very own army tank. What an awesome way to celebrate their contributions to the team!

Thank You, Clifton Creek!
