Antonine College 2026

As the cool late-autumn weather rolled in, the students and teachers from Antonine College arrived at The Summit ready to embrace three unforgettable days of challenge, teamwork, laughter, and growth. From the moment they stepped into the Lodge and met their coaching team, the energy was high as everyone settled in and prepared to launch straight into the action.

To kick off camp, the students jumped into a quick game of “50 Up,” while learning about The Summit’s Target, Stretch, and Super Stretch goal-setting strategy — a powerful way to push beyond comfort zones and discover what they were truly capable of. They also learnt the secret recipe for an epic camp:

The Five Keys

Day One – Activities & Tribe Names

As students split into their groups and launched into their first initiative challenge, the weather decided to turn things up a notch — with rain absolutely pouring down across the park! But instead of letting it ruin the day, the students embraced the conditions, leaned into the challenge, and played all in.

The initiative activities also gave students the chance to create their tribe identities, with some iconic team names quickly coming to life:

  • Tripple Cheese Shamoo
  • GYG
  • Three Musketeers
  • TTT
  • Passion
  • Manoushe

The groups wrapped up the afternoon with one final activity before heading back for the evening session.

That night, Coach Spinks led an inspiring “Belief and Mindset” session, encouraging students to reflect on the limiting beliefs holding them back and how empowering beliefs can completely shift mindset and performance. Students wrote down both limiting and empowering beliefs before taking on the challenge of physically breaking through a board — a powerful metaphor showing that belief, combined with strategy, can lead to incredible success.

Day Two – Mud, Mindset & Monster Energy

Day Two began with a morning intention session before students warmed up with a huge game of Jockeys to get the energy flowing for another action-packed day.

Students tackled a massive lineup of activities across the park, including:

  • Leap of Faith
  • Giant Swing
  • Sky Bridge
  • High Wire
  • Inflatable City
  • Snowy River Challenge

The weather continued to keep everyone on their toes, but the students never backed down from the challenge. Tug of War brought out some fierce tribe competition, with muddy ground and slippery conditions making every round even more intense. Huge congratulations to Team TTT for taking out the Tribe Challenge win!

Then came the main event…

The Monster Course

The afternoon shifted into full chaos as teams went head-to-head across The Summit’s legendary Monster Course. Linked together while carrying car tyres, students sprinted, slipped, battled through mud, and worked together to conquer every obstacle in their path.

But the biggest twist? It wasn’t about who was fastest — it was all about improvement.

Teams discovered that resilience, teamwork, and determination mattered far more than speed, and every group gave absolutely everything they had to improve their second lap times.

Mud-covered, exhausted, and laughing the entire way through, the students finished the day stronger, more connected, and full of pride.

Final Day – Reflections & Finishing Strong

By Day Three, the rain had finally eased off, giving students the chance to complete their remaining activities and soak in the final moments of camp together.

As camp began wrapping up, each tribe took time to vote for their Values Winner — someone who had truly embodied The Summit’s Five Keys through courage, support, positivity, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zone.

We are so proud of the courage and teamwork shown throughout the week and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings for you all.

Keep stepping outside your comfort zones, keep backing each other, and most importantly… don’t go home wondering “What If.”
