Lauriston Girls’ School

From the 11th to the 13th, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Lauriston Girls’ School to The Summit — and from the moment they arrived, the energy was high, the smiles were wide, and the attitude was all in.

Supported by an incredible coaching team — Cal, Mim, Lucy, Christopher, Canadian Chris, Ant, Liv, Will and Steve — the tone was set for three days of courage, growth, teamwork and serious fun.

Right from the first morning, the focus was clear: set your intention and set a goal for the day. That mindset carried through every rotation, every muddy challenge, and every reflection session that followed. Combined with our Target, Stretch, Super Stretch framework and the Five Keys, the girls didn’t just learn the concepts — they lived them.

The Five Keys

Before launching into seven epic activity rotations, students were introduced to key locations around the park. Calarnee and Timmay demonstrated helmets and harnesses, Mim unpacked our powerful goal-setting strategy — Target, Stretch, Super Stretch — and then it was time to get moving.

Activities & Tribe Names

Across the three days, the girls tackled an action-packed lineup of activities, including:

  • Abseiling
  • Tasha’s Ladder
  • Bag Blitz

  • Snowy River Challenge

  • Inflatable City
  • High Wire
  • The Mud Run

Each tribe brought their own personality, creativity and team pride to camp:

  • Smashed Avo Bagals
  • Organatangs
  • Lazy Limes
  • Pink Panthas
  • Silver Surfers
  • Perfect Purples

Day One – Intention & Momentum

Day One was about setting the standard. The girls leaned into discomfort early, backed each other up, and approached every challenge with determination.

You could see confidence building in real time — one step, one climb, one leap at a time.

Day Two – Grit & The Mud Run

One of the standout highlights of camp was undoubtedly the Mud Run. Faced with completing the course twice, the girls showed exceptional resilience and teamwork.

There was mud. There was laughter. There were tired legs and loud cheers. And there was that iconic wash-off through the big cargo net — well and truly earned.

It wasn’t just about getting through it. It was about how they got through it — together.

Every tribe demonstrated what it means to Play All In and Get Uncomfortable — supporting each other through every obstacle and finishing stronger than they started.

Final Day – Gratitude & Celebration

As camp drew to a close, the focus shifted toward gratitude and reflection. The girls paused to recognise what they had overcome, the friendships strengthened, and the courage they had shown.

Each tribe voted for a Values Winner — someone who truly embodied teamwork, encouragement and a positive attitude across the three days.

Camp wrapped up with cheers, medals and well-earned celebrations — a powerful finish to an unforgettable few days.
