    Kurnai College Juniors Camp2

    September 2025

    Back to blog

What a crew! After a short bus ride, Kurnai College rolled through The Summit gates buzzing with energy and ready for three days of challenge, growth, and epic memories. With two program leaders (Lucy & Cal) and one awesome tribe, the team leaned into every opportunity, lifted each other up, and brought the vibes from start to finish.

    The Five Keys

    1. Have Fun
    2. Play All In
    3. Make Lots of Mistakes
    4. Get Uncomfortable
    5. Don’t Go Home Wondering ‘What If’

Day One — Courage & Teamwork

From the very first rotation, the group showed heart. The Snowy River Challenge had everyone crawling, balancing, climbing, and swinging, finishing with a bonus underground adventure through the “wombat hole.” Over at The Cave, students tuned into their other senses and tackled surprise challenges in the dark. And at Summit Window, the tribe stepped up, climbing the tower, standing tall, and leaning back with trust and courage. What a start!

Day Two — Intentions, Breakthroughs & Big Grit

We set powerful intentions in the morning (how we wanted to show up), then fired up with a quick game of volleyball. Inflatable City brought laughs with human foosball and the Adrenaline Rush course. Up in the trees, High Wire tested focus and bravery, so many breakthroughs! Snakes & Nails taught calm and courage (plus a close-up with Hercules, our black-headed python). The Giant Swing soared, bonus cameo from our friendly swooping magpie! We wrapped with the Mud Run, where the tribe went all-in together… and then chose to run it again after a resilience chat. Legendary.

Final Day — Gratitude & Celebration

We started with gratitude, pausing to appreciate the people and moments that matter, followed by another friendly volleyball hit-out. Then came the freedom rush of the Flying Fox and a high-energy finish with Laser Skirmish. In our closing debrief, we celebrated our Values Winners and the teachers’ pick, then capped camp with a once-in-a-lifetime prize: a ride in The Summit’s WWII tank. What a finale!

    Thank You, Kurnai College!

From first challenge to final high-five, you showed courage, heart, and teamwork. Thanks for playing all in, backing each other, and making these three days truly special. We’re so proud of what you achieved, take the Five Keys back to school and keep that momentum rolling.
